Ways of seeing

In the Reading Ways of Seeing by John Berger. It talks about the importance of imagery and different perspectives of photos and how you can portray them. One insightful thing Berger said was that imagery was first used to conjure up the appearance of something that was absent. I think its cool that, that is how imagery started and it has grown into the very important and meaningful theme it is today.

Another perspective of imagery from Berger was all the emotional change that was felt in the paintings. I believe many of the paintings are meant to touch people or have the ability to connect easily with. For perspective if there was a painting of a pool in the summer, many people can relate to that there connecting with a part of their life.
