1.  Red Plum by Thomas Downing      This sculpture is a piece of artwork which I believe is trying to convey a picnic or fruit of some sort. I believe each different circle represents a different fruit. I was least interested in this painting out of all my featured ones that I saw at the BMA. I just don't see a lot I can connect to with this sculpture . 2. Women With Basket Of Fruit by Pierre Bonnard      In this Painting we see a women who looks like she is in some sort of a chefs outfit and is possibly preparing to cook something with the fresh fruit in the basket. This painting makes me feel Happy and hungry as the basket of fruit looks extremely tasty and everything in the picture seems very happy and calm and gives me a lot of positive vibes. 3. Ways of seeing

In the Reading Ways of Seeing by John Berger. It talks about the importance of imagery and different perspectives of photos and how you can portray them. One insightful thing Berger said was that imagery was first used to conjure up the appearance of something that was absent. I think its cool that, that is how imagery started and it has grown into the very important and meaningful theme it is today. Another perspective of imagery from Berger was all the emotional change that was felt in the paintings. I believe many of the paintings are meant to touch people or have the ability to connect easily with. For perspective if there was a painting of a pool in the summer, many people can relate to that there connecting with a part of their life.

Visibility

In this reading we see how a visual perspective of artwork can really bring our minds into the story or picture and try to grasp a better understanding of what is happening. It states in the excerpt "High Fantasy" Although I do not know what the author actually means here I can take a pretty good guess. We have to use or imaginative side of our brains to try and create a picture of scene in our mind so we can better understand what we are reading or looking at. This story is about Dante and his journey through hell and what he finds and comes face to face with during his journey. We see Dante's different journeys and different people he comes in play with. We the Ignatius of Loyola helping Dante through his journey.

Art is not just something we look at or admire. Art touches an individuals inner emotions and thoughts while also being an influencing force for change all over the world. Art comes in many different forms. Many people think of art as sculptures or paintings but it is actually much more then that. Art can be in forms of religion or politics or landscaping or published pieces of work. Many of these different forms of art are some of the types that change the world the most. We look at different types of art throughout history that has influenced the world around us. For example the Martin Luther King picture was one that showed equality and a hope for peace. That art in particular touched the hearts of everyone and become a nationwide piece of art that society will remember forever. So can art change the world? I believe so if you look at every type of art and see what types of artwork has affected our history and what types will affect us going forward.
